Solo exhibition "Acky Bright: Studio Infinity" will be held at Japan Society, a traditional art gallery in New York (333 E 47th St).
The pre-opening reception party held on August 22 had a record 500 visitors. (Check the movie below for more details!)
This solo exhibition will feature Acky's commercial works, including those for McDonald's and DC Comics, as well as a large number of sketches showing their production processes.
New original works based on the traditional Japanese performing art "Kabuki" will also be exhibited.
Live drawings using transparent murals will also be held during the exhibition.
The exhibition will begin in the fall and will run from October 4, 2024 to January 19, 2025.
